I hope that all members can make our Holiday Party at the Steinhaus Taste of Germany. Many of our members from Louisville and Lexington will make the trip. Audi Sport's Tom Kristensen drives his last race on November 30th. TK announced his retirement this week and his last race will be the final round in the WEC on November 30th in Brasil. Is there any interest in trying to put something together to view part of the race somewhere? It is a challenge to watch it live since the only coverage for us in the US is via the web. The VW-Porsche-Audi Reunion is Sunday 9/28/14 gates open at 9:30am. Location is Germanis Park 3529 W. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45251. Those who volunteer be there at 7am. The 23rd Volkswagen Porsche Reunion which now includes Audi. This year about 350+ cars will be on display and a vendor and swap meet area. I would like to thank Audi of Lexington for our/their first tech-session. We estimated that almost 200 Auid owners came to the event from 1pm to 5pm. Many club members came in support from Lexington, Louisville and Northern, KY. Audi of Lexington provided food and beverages and was very accomodating to make this event a success. The date and time is set for the Club tour of Kettler Motorwerks. Brad Kettler has been kind enough to arrange a tour of his facility. Brad is involved with Audi Customer Racing R8 program for Imsa/United Sportscar Racing. Also they have an Audi R-10 factory WEC/American LeMans LMP1. The date is Saturday May 17th at 1:00pm. Audi Club of Kentucky will have our first Tech-Session in a while at Audi of Lexington. Ben Johnson who works at Audi of Lexington will be coordinate the event. All state members are encouraged to participate. It will be a chance to introduce the Club and recruite new members. A cookout is in the works. It all starts at 1pm Saturday March 22 2014. Many Thanks to Audi of Lexinton for their support. More news to come.
The club is working with all three dealers to hold tech-sessions. Covering maintenance, washing/waxing, road saftey etc;. Will advise and post dates as soon as they are set.

Open to all Audi Club of Kentucky memebers have been invited to attend the German May Fest with the Porsche Club of Cincinnati. This is a concours event with many divisions and the Audi Club will have our own paddock to display our cars. More details to come. The date is Sunday May 18th. So we have a full weekend of events with the road trip to Kettler Motor Werks and Porsche Club Concours. I hope a lot of memeber can show for this fun weekend.

I spoke with Bill Keef with the Porsche Club of Cincinnati and the Audi Club of Kentucky members will be able to attend the Porsche Club's track days at Mid-Ohio. The dates are April 5th and 6th 2014 and October 18th and 19th. For those members that are track qualified, April 4th and October 17th are open track days. No limit laps at full speed. A road trip is planned for Saturday May 17 2014 to Kettler Motor Werks in West College Corner, IN. Brad Kettler was kind enough to make arragements for the tour. brad is involved with Audi Customer Racing R8 program and has many vintage Audi road cars and race cars on hand.
